Last spring I presented a paper called ‘Flipping the Engineering Classroom’ at the Canadian Engineering Education Association annual conference in Canmore, Alberta. The paper summarizes the results of my study of three supposed advantages to flipped learning:
- a deeper form of learning
- higher student accountability for their own learning
- more engagement during classes
